About the Position

Senior Analytics Executive - Consultant (Maternity cover fixed term 12 month contract)

We are seeking a Senior Analytics Executive for a 12-month maternity cover contract to join our NielsenIQ team, driving business growth through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a portfolio of FMCG manufacturing clients to foster a strong understanding of their business priorities and needs.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and create & deliver pertinent analytical insights & presentations.
  • Become a category expert; engage with the client industry, their categories, and key market trends.
  • Respond to client briefs through rigorous analysis and the creation of compelling insight stories.
  • Work with large, continuous data sets to identify and interpret data trends and understand the drivers of category and brand performance.
  • Partner with NielsenIQ colleagues to develop and leverage NielsenIQ thought leadership.
  • Work closely with NielsenIQ sales colleagues by identifying unmet client business needs and opportunities for new business.
  • Understand and use Nielsen tools as well as the Nielsen product portfolio.
  • Manage workload independently and effectively prioritize client commitments alongside internal commitments.

Requirements

  • 2/3 years experience working in an FMCG environment is a must have
  • Experience of working in an analytical capacity.
  • Client-focused with a strong desire to meet client needs and deliver satisfaction.
  • Performs work accurately and effectively with strong attention to detail.
  • Numerical confidence and an ability to translate numbers into insights and recommendations.
  • An aptitude & desire to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • An engaging presenter and storyteller.
  • Good time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of working as part of a team in a client-focused environment.
  • Capable of leveraging tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, as well as AI tools and agents.
