Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications and APIs.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with developers during feature development to ensure quality is built into the product.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects.
• Analyze test results and provide clear reports to the development team.
• Participate in ScrumBan ceremonies and be ready to present your work.
• Continuously improve QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing practices.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD testing pipelines.
• Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
• Contribute to improving software quality standards and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
• 3+ years of experience in test automation.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
• Experience with UI automation frameworks such as: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium.
• Experience with programming languages such as: JavaScript / TypeScript, Java, C#.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience testing REST APIs.
• SQL knowledge and database validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing (JMeter, k6, Gatling).
• Experience testing microservices.
• Experience testing cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Docker knowledge.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
