About the Position

ELEKS Quality Assurance Office is looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer with FHIR experience in Argentina.

About the Project

Our customer is a leading US healthcare organization focused on delivering innovative digital solutions that improve healthcare services and interoperability. The project involves developing and maintaining modern applications and APIs that support healthcare data exchange while ensuring quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

You’ll become part of a distributed Agile team working closely with US-based stakeholders in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases
Automate UI and API testing for modern web and microservices-based applications
Perform API validation and data verification across integrated systems
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and QA engineers throughout the development lifecycle
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, refinement, and other Agile ceremonies
Analyze defects, identify root causes, and contribute to continuous quality improvements
Enhance existing automation frameworks and propose improvements to testing processes
Contribute to the team’s automation strategy and quality engineering best practices

Requirements

4+ years of commercial experience in QA Automation (6+ years for Senior level)
Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java
Experience automating UI and/or API testing
Practical experience testing RESTful APIs
Good understanding of software testing methodologies and automation best practices
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Upper-Intermediate or higher English level for daily communication with US-based teams
Experience testing FHIR-compliant healthcare solutions
Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7)
Experience validating FHIR resources such as Patient, Coverage, Claim, or ExplanationOfBenefit
Experience working with healthcare data platforms, payer/provider solutions, or HIPAA-compliant systems

Nice to Have

Experience with qTest for test management
CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
Azure DevOps
Experience testing microservices-based applications
