Senior Capital Markets Sales

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Capital Markets Sales Technology Lead with strong expertise in equity derivatives and structured products. This role combines technology leadership, software engineering, and capital markets knowledge to deliver scalable solutions that support sales, distribution, and trading teams across structured product platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of technology solutions supporting structured products sales and distribution teams;
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, high-quality software solutions;
• Develop and maintain applications and services using Python and Java;
• Integrate and optimize structured product distribution platforms and related workflows;
• Manage Bloomberg structured note contribution workflows, including secondary market price publication and identifier management;
• Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs to support internal and external integrations;
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Trading, Product, and senior stakeholders to deliver business-aligned technology solutions;
• Lead technical delivery and provide guidance within Agile development environments;
• Drive improvements in system performance, scalability, and reliability;
• Support the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience;
• At least 4 years of experience within capital markets or financial services environments;
• Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend services development;
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 or higher;
• Experience delivering full-stack technology solutions;
• Deep understanding of equity derivatives products, including structured notes, autocallables, barrier options, and equity-linked products;
• Experience working with structured product distribution platforms such as SIMON, Luma, Evooq, OTCX, Halo, and/or CAIS;
• Experience managing Bloomberg structured note contribution workflows;
• Knowledge of BSYM, BBGID identifiers, and Bloomberg Terminal integrations;
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs;
• Knowledge of FIX protocol or other financial messaging protocols;
• Strong proficiency with relational and document-oriented databases;
• Solid understanding of trade lifecycle management, order management, and structured product workflows;
• Experience leading technical delivery in Agile environments;
• Advanced English proficiency;
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure;
• Experience with containerized deployments using Kubernetes;
• Familiarity with additional structured products distribution platforms;
• Exposure to structured products linked to rates, credit, or FX asset classes;
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in regulated environments;
• Knowledge of data engineering and ETL processes for reporting and analytics;
• Experience implementing FIX protocol solutions within OMS environments;
• Knowledge of financial regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, or SEC Reg BI;
