Senior Climate Change consultant

About the Position

The company holds leading positions in the international market in the field of audit services. We are seeking a Senior Climate Change Consultant in Kyiv to develop and implement climate adaptation/mitigation strategies for clients.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on the development and implementing of Climate adaptation/mitigation strategies or solutions throughout the lifecycle of products and services.
• Development and execution of net zero strategies.
• Supporting clients in climate mitigation, adaptation, and climate resilience, including developing sector-specific mitigation and adaptation objectives and measures, such as in a low carbon and climate resilient strategy or action plan.
• Supporting clients with the assessment of carbon emission reduction potential and carbon footprints.
• Supporting the delivery of GHG inventorying services, including operational Scope 1+2 and value chain scope 3 inventories.
• Carrying out gap analysis reviews/audits for environmental and sustainability-related topics.
• Sharing your/our expertise as a contributing expert to global events and thought leadership efforts.

Requirements

• Degree in sustainability, environmental sciences, or related fields.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferably in one of the following areas: carbon footprint calculations/verification, net zero transition, sustainable supply chain management.
