Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP to design and develop cloud platforms, manage Kubernetes, and ensure security and reliability in enterprise environments.

Locations: Wrocław, Poland / Kraków, Poland / Remote

Salary: 130 - 180 PLN/h

It is also possible to choose a different form of cooperation. The salary range shown applies to B2B cooperation. If you prefer another form of cooperation, let us know - we’ll be happy to discuss the available options and adjust the terms to the selected model.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing cloud platforms based on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Making technical decisions regarding platform architecture.
• Building and developing solutions based on Kubernetes.
• Defining standards for deployment, automation, and environment maintenance.
• Developing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Designing and improving CI/CD processes.
• Working with Helm and standards for deploying applications on Kubernetes.
• Designing architectural patterns for multi-cloud environments.
• Developing areas related to observability, security, governance, and automation.
• Diagnosing complex production issues.
• Supporting development and technical teams in effectively using the platform.
• Participating in projects related to AI runtime, AI platform foundations, and securely running AI workloads in enterprise environments.
• Co-creating the development direction of internal platforms and the platform engineering approach.

Requirements

• Solid experience working with at least one public cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Very good understanding of cloud services such as IAM, networking, storage, managed services, observability, and security controls.
• Experience working with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Knowledge of Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code approach and ability to design IaC solutions.
• Experience with Helm, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
• Ability to diagnose complex issues using logs, events, metrics, and observability tools.
• Experience in building or developing internal platforms.
• Ability to define technical standards and recommend best practices.
• Understanding of the importance of security, governance, and reliability in enterprise environments.
• Ability to collaborate with development teams, security teams, architects, and technical stakeholders.
• Desire to have an impact on the development of cloud-native platforms and solutions supporting AI.
