About the Role

At Avante, we're revolutionizing the way companies manage their benefits with AI. We're expanding our presence to New York City and are looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager to be the voice behind our innovative ideas and content. You'll be responsible for shaping the narrative and driving engagement for our AI-native benefits platform.

Responsibilities

Build Avante's content engine: Establish a content calendar, website content, and GTM enablement materials.
Curate Avante's point of view: Develop narratives, materials, and thought leadership that define our category.
Write and shape event content: Create speaker guides, narrative arcs, and talking points for webinars, panels, and podcasts.
Lead our social presence: Shape our social media content to ensure it resonates with our audience.
Support demand generation: Write nurture content to keep leads engaged and improve AEO and SEO.
Protect a consistent brand voice: Ensure all content maintains Avante's unique voice and tone.
Use AI to extend your reach: Leverage AI tools to repurpose and extend long-form writing while focusing on original ideas.
Adapt as we grow: Be flexible as the marketing function scales and evolves.

Requirements

5-7+ years in content marketing or a writing-heavy communications role
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
Excellent writing and editing skills
Direct experience writing for events
Track record of producing enablement materials used by sales teams
Comfort using AI tools to repurpose and extend long-form writing
Experience partnering with product marketing or brand partners
Early-stage startup experience

Nice to Have

Experience marketing to enterprise-level/Fortune 2000 companies
A published writing background (bylines, books, or a personal platform with real readership)
Experience marketing to HR, benefits, or healthcare buyers

We Offer

Competitive salary: $120,000 - $155,000 a year
Benefits include: stock options, medical/dental/vision, and 401k
