Senior Customer Support Specialist

About the Position

As a Senior Customer Support Specialist, you will combine technical support with the daily management of our support team of five colleagues. You will analyze and independently solve complex technical and functional issues and serve as a subject matter expert for your colleagues. As a team leader, you will also oversee daily activities, help determine priorities, and ensure that work is properly distributed and followed up.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and independently solve complex technical and functional customer issues
• Install and configure new system versions and services, working with SFTP, API interfaces, IIS, certificates, and SQL
• Investigate technical problems, for example by performing network analyses or checking data exchange with test reports
• Advise and support customers on interfaces, connections, and other technical applications
• Together with the planning team, determine priorities, distribute tasks within the support team, and monitor progress
• Provide subject matter guidance and coaching to colleagues, share knowledge, and promptly identify bottlenecks within the team

Requirements

• You have a higher vocational education (hbo) work and thinking level
• You have extensive experience in technical customer support, application management, or a similar IT role
• Experience in managing, guiding, or coordinating colleagues
• You have good knowledge of IT systems, networks, and software environments and experience in installing, configuring, and supporting software and services
• You have knowledge of interfaces, APIs, SFTP, IIS, certificates, databases, and SQL
• You are analytically strong, customer-oriented, and accustomed to taking independent responsibility
• You maintain an overview, are willing to give direction, and like to share your knowledge and experience with colleagues
• Fluent in Dutch and English, German is a plus
