Join our team as a (Senior) Data + AI Engineer to develop, operate, and monitor data pipelines using SQL, Spark, Python, and Databricks.

Responsibilities

  • Support our team in the development, operation, and monitoring of data pipelines using technologies such as SQL, Spark, Python, and Databricks.
  • Implement software engineering best practices like CI/CD, testing, and code sharing (Git) to ensure clean and robust processes.
  • Make architectural decisions in diverse projects in AWS or Azure.

Requirements

  • Enthusiasm for taking on responsibility and working in a team.
  • At least 2 years of experience in database, data warehouse, or data lake development.
  • Initial experience in software development and programming with languages such as SQL or Python.
  • Experience with Databricks, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.

Why Us?

We value good collaboration, transparency, and open communication. We offer room for development and are true doers with strong opinions, yet we don't take ourselves too seriously.

Our projects are usually focused on the greater Cologne area or remote. We place great importance on a strong team and try to solve project assignments as a team whenever possible. Besides our work for clients, it is important to us that internal projects and innovative data products are advanced.

About Us

Data is our thing. And maybe soon yours too.

We are Datasolut, a data & AI consultancy from Cologne. We help companies make real value from their data: from the first AI strategy to modern lakehouse platforms and machine learning and agentic AI solutions that actually run in everyday life. And not just look good on slides.

What We Do

We accompany our clients on the entire journey: We understand together where they stand, implement what is really needed, and scale what works. Strategy and implementation come from one source. No handing over, no re-explaining, no game of telephone.

Technologically, we are right at the forefront: As a Databricks partner and one of the few Microsoft Fabric Featured Partners in Germany, you will work with the platforms that are currently shaping the data world. Our CTO Laurenz is a Databricks MVP. This means: Here you will learn from people who know what they are talking about.

How We Work

We are not a corporation, and that's a good thing. With us, there are short paths, flat hierarchies, and real responsibility from the start. Your ideas do not end up in a drawer but in the next project. We share knowledge, help each other, and celebrate successes together.

What Awaits You with Us

  • Projects with real impact instead of busywork.
  • Working with the latest data & AI technologies such as Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
  • A team that is passionate about data and will pull you along.
  • Space to learn, experiment, and grow.
  • JobRad and Deutschlandticket on top.
  • Our office in Cologne. Nothing more needs to be said.

Does this sound like you?

Then apply! We look forward to getting to know you.
