We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our partner’s team - someone passionate about turning data into insights and working closely with the business. While the main focus is analytics, the role also involves some data engineering tasks, so experience with data infrastructure is a big plus.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with different teams to understand their needs, shape technical approaches, and bring them to life
- Analyse complex data to identify patterns, surface insights, and guide strategic and day-to-day decisions
- Build and manage dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating business needs into data questions
- Design and build data models and storage solutions using Snowflake
- Set up and maintain data pipelines that bring data from different sources into Snowflake
- Create and support database elements such as views and procedures
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data-focused roles, with a strong emphasis on data analysis
- Proven expertise in analysing and interpreting complex datasets to generate actionable business insights, not just reports or dashboards
- 2 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including a solid understanding of its internal architecture and common usage patterns
- Strong command of SQL, especially performance-tuned queries for large-scale datasets
- Familiarity with data modelling principles, structured storage, and ETL/ELT workflows
- Experience with modern data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Experience with AWS services in a data environment, such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, or Glue - mandatory
- Exposure to data engineering tasks, including building and maintaining data pipelines
- Experience working closely with business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into data-driven solutions
- Ability to work in hybrid analytical-engineering environments
- Excellent written and spoken English
