About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst | Data Modeler to join our team in Bucharest, Romania, focusing on data management and modeling for global KYC initiatives.
Responsibilities
As a Business Data Analyst, you will:
- Analyze data from +20 countries using data tools such as SQL and modeling tools.
- Communicate with relevant business/technical stakeholders from these countries.
- Support the definition and follow-up on the milestones of Data Roadmaps related to these countries.
- Help ING prevent Money Laundering and Financial Crimes globally.
- Solve complex IT problems and challenges.
- Analyze business requirements for the development of products and services in the KYC scope.
- Optimize and automate processes and data according to data standards.
- Simplify solutions and processes in a complex and fragmented IT landscape.
- Ensure compliance with ING’s policies and standards.
- Build the bridge between business and IT.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of working experience in data delivery solution design (data flows, meta data analysis and modelling, low-level data architecture, data integration, source to target mappings, data models, data quality, data governance).
- Solid experience with SQL queries for checking, aggregating, and analyzing large sets of data.
- Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience within the fixing cycle of incident management process.
- Advanced level of English.
Nice to Have
- Experience in regulatory/process changes and translating regulatory requirements into functional designs and/or processes (experience within the areas of Financial Economic Crime, Anti Money Laundering or Compliance is a plus).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
