Senior Data Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team to help our client build a new Data Lake/Data Warehouse in MS Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration
• Create and manage Azure Analytics and Data Factory pipelines
• Support the development and implementation of the new data strategy
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure project goals are met
• Provide technical expertise and support during customer and project interviews
• Identify issues and opportunities for improvement in data integration and suggest solutions

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data Integration
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering
• Strong knowledge of Azure Analytics, Azure Data Factory
• Experience with Data Integration (ETL/ELT) Platforms, Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services
• Experience in PySpark
• Proven ability to work with large-scale data
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice to Have

• Skills in Azure Synapse Analytics
• Knowledge of SQL
• Proficiency in Python
