About the Position
Senior Data Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with more than 5 years of experience to join our team in Florianopolis, Brazil. This is a full-time, remote position with a monthly payment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance custom integrations to meet internal and external requirements of customers and their third-party carriers.
- Utilize internal tools and documentation to promote efficiency and standardization.
- Provide input on methodology and process improvements.
- Create, debug, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Plan, design, implement, and test data integration processes.
- Guide internal and external customers through the development process using the team's best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Proficiency in SQL Relational Database Programming (T-SQL, MS SQL Server 2014/2016/2019).
- Experience in writing stored procedures/functions (MS SQL Server 2014/2016/2019).
- Analytical mind and a problem-solving attitude.
- Knowledge of the development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Good interpersonal skills and dedication to a team environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, self-motivated, quick learner.
- Intermediate + English level.
