Senior Data Engineer (GCP)

What we are looking for:
Currently, we have an opening for a Senior Data Engineer with solid experience in cloud environments, especially in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), who wants to join GFT in our international projects. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person willing to start and grow in a multicultural, motivating, and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud systems.
• Recognize, identify, and document potential areas where existing business processes require changes, or where new processes need to be developed, and make recommendations.
• Ensure GFT's ability to implement and deliver the designed solution by working closely with the designated delivery units.
• Identify, evaluate, and minimize the risk associated with the company's cloud privacy.

Requirements

• Experience in cloud migrations, especially GCP, of at least 4 years.
• Experience in Python 3.x development as the primary development language.
• Experience working with Apache Airflow, including the creation of DAGs and the use of GCP Providers.
• At least two years of experience and practical knowledge of Apache Spark with PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Experience in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes using GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform.
• High level of English (B2).
