About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead a Proof of Concept (POC) for developing a "Next Best Action system" for sales representatives. You will be pivotal in defining use cases, understanding segmentation needs, exploring existing analytics, and defining business rules for action filtering based on segmentation.
Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to define specific use cases for the POC
- Understand and define the segmentation needs for the 'Next Best Action' system
- Explore and understand existing analytics, dashboards, and metrics
- Define the success criteria based on KPIs and business objectives and the library of potential actions for the sales representatives
- Provide business rules for action-filtering based on segmentation
- Validate the availability of needed data sources for the POC
- Draft the high-level architecture with the customer
- Conceptualize the development environment with the customer
- Plan and implement the POC for the 'Next Best Action' system
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Proven experience in Data Science Commons and ML Architecture
- Proficiency in the Python Data Science Ecosystem
- Solid understanding of retail domains and their data peculiarities
- Experience in engaging with stakeholders to define specific use cases
- Ability to define success based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Strong capability in validating availability of needed data sources
- Ability to draft high-level architecture and development environment concepts
- Skills in initial data exploration and quality assessment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with customers and stakeholders
- B2+ English level proficiency
