About the Position
Senior Delivery Manager
Hybrid in Australia: Sydney
We are seeking a Senior Delivery Manager who will assess and reshape governance across a major data and market intelligence transformation. You bring calm leadership in high-risk delivery, align engineers and executives and build practical reporting, risk and decision rhythms that improve outcomes across multiple workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the assessment and redesign of program governance to remove delivery blockers and improve outcomes
- Establish risk, issue, dependency and decision management with clear escalation paths
- Partner with engineering, architecture, business leaders and executives to embed governance into leadership forums
- Build executive-ready reporting and dashboards that show program health, risks and priorities
- Coordinate multiple delivery streams to ensure consistent standards, cadence and accountability
- Drive recovery actions in high-risk delivery scenarios, stabilizing plans and restoring confidence
- Improve governance artefacts, decision traceability and knowledge retention across the program
Requirements
- Program governance expertise across complex transformation initiatives and multi-stream delivery
- Technical delivery background with the ability to engage engineers and translate constraints into workable plans
- AI delivery experience, including taking GenAI or machine learning initiatives from discovery through build, validation and production rollout with clear governance, risk controls and executive reporting
- Java knowledge sufficient to challenge assumptions, unblock teams and guide technical trade-offs
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience in technology delivery environments
- Risk and issue management capability including escalation, mitigation planning and executive decision support
- Stakeholder management confidence with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Reporting and dashboarding ability for clear, executive-level program visibility
