About the Position
Senior Design Engineer Digital Electronics
Cross Border Talents is seeking a Senior Design Engineer Digital Electronics for a renowned Dutch agency based in the Netherlands. This agency specializes in the recruitment and relocation of technical specialists for the Netherlands, working with clients such as ASML, VDL, DAF Trucks, Siemens, and more.
The role involves contributing to the setup of the total (sub-)system within a multidisciplinary team in an international environment. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and verifying complex analog circuits in these systems.
Responsibilities
- Designing, simulating, implementing, and verifying digital circuits in collaboration with other disciplines such as mechanical and embedded software development.
- Acting as the point of contact for engineers from customers in your field of expertise.
- Creating designs that meet requirements for EMC, testability, reliability, and producibility.
- Specifying circuits, documenting them, and determining which tests are needed.
- Making estimates for planning and communicating about technical progress to the project manager.
- Managing some junior engineers in their daily work.
Requirements
- Completed HBO or WO degree in Electronics.
- More than 10 years of experience as a designer in the development of digital circuits within product development.
- Quality-driven, takes initiative, and strives for the best technical solution.
- Experience in using tools for designing digital circuits, such as simulations with Hyperlinx for high-speed interfaces.
- Experience in designing circuits with controllers, processors, CPLDs, and FPGAs.
- Experience with interfaces such as RS485, I2C, SPI, USB, and CAN and Ethernet.
- Proficiency in using measurement equipment.
- Basic knowledge of software and mechatronics.
- Good oral and written communication skills for technical product documentation in English.
