Senior Development / Engineering Lead

About the Position

We’re looking for a Senior Development / Engineering Lead (AI + React/TypeScript) who treats AI as a collaborator – never a blind authority. You’ll work hands-on while leading others, partner closely with the team to map the front-end architecture, and set the engineering principles for agentic AI development. You’ll judge what belongs with AI agents (and what doesn’t), review and refine Copilot output in IntelliJ, and turn complex requirements into resilient, elegant React/TypeScript solutions.

The company builds mission-critical platforms that power furniture and kitchen retailers, manufacturers, and buying groups-spanning 3D planning/visualisation, ERP, POS, logistics, and service. Teams collaborate closely with users, challenge complexity, and favour solutions that are maintainable, secure, and quietly scalable.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to design solutions and work closely with your team to map out the architecture of the front end
• Hands-on engineer who will develop, lead others, and write some of the more complex solutions
• Should have experience of working in Agentic AI development
• They will likely use Copilot linked to the IntelliJ
• Needs to be able to support us in defining engineering principles for Agentic AI development
• Understand what can be given to AI Agentic agents and what is not suitable
• Review, adjust, and commit AI-generated code

• Some SWING or Vaadin knowledge (but not critical)
• Java coding skills a bonus
