Senior DevOps Engineer for Industrial AI Cloud (m/f/d)

About the Position

NVIDIA and Deutsche Telekom are jointly developing the world’s first industrial AI cloud for European manufacturers. This AI factory in Germany will host 10,000 GPUs across NVIDIA DGX B200 systems and RTX Pro Servers. Deutsche Telekom provides secure, sovereign, and fast infrastructure, including data centers, operations, security, and AI solutions.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will provide consultation to implement DevOps principles in terms of culture and technologies. You will prepare prototypes and concepts for further automation of assigned technology, driving continuous improvement. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support ICT components and applications to deliver a quality standard product portfolio on the AI Cloud platform.
• Develop concepts, processes, and methods for automation, optimization, and standardization to satisfy efficiency and automation requirements.
• Consult and provide advice or information at request or at own initiative to all relevant employees or customers regarding technical aspects of products.
• Consult and provide project deliverables to fulfill the project scope.
• Own responsibility for maintenance & support of enhancement of the Product pipelines with further levels of value chain, connecting pipeline to different platforms and infrastructures, integration of different platforms and infrastructures into the pipeline, root-cause analysis of pipeline runtime errors.
• Develop and implement architecture of services based on AI Cloud platform requirements.
• Mentor and train co-workers to spread knowledge level and develop their skills.
• Act as key technical lead and solve and coordinate activities across related technologies/outside own team.
• Setup and manage integration with partner applications.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in the design and delivery of systems based on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Experience with GPU-based infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes container-based technologies.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python/Bash).
• Experience with Automation tools and automation deployments (Ansible/Salt-stack/Terraform/Helm).
• Experience with CI/CD in a Kubernetes environment and repository management.
• Strong experience with Linux OS.
• Experience with monitoring and visualization tools (Grafana, Prometheus, …).
• Speak English at B2 level, German is an advantage.
