About the Position
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the migration from Jenkins to GitLab CI/CD within a dynamic cloud environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS, infrastructure automation, and modern CI/CD practices to help streamline and modernize our delivery pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins to GitLab CI/CD
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD workflows in cloud environments
- Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions to automate provisioning and deployments
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, management, and business team members to align DevOps practices with business goals
- Optimize and monitor AWS-based infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Implement container orchestration solutions using Kubernetes
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across build, deployment, and runtime environments
- Establish best practices for automation, security, and observability across the SDLC
- Mentor team members on DevOps tools, processes, and methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
- 5+ years of experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools in Cloud environments
- Proficiency in Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD with hands-on experience in pipeline migration
- Expertise in AWS Cloud services including S3, RDS, and DynamoDB, as well as Elasticsearch, Lambda, and API Gateway, along with AmazonMQ and CloudWatch
- Skills in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Competency in container orchestration with Kubernetes
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Ansible
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical staff and non-technical stakeholders
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
