About the Position

Senior DevOps Engineer with GCP

You will join a DevOps product team responsible for building, maintaining, and improving cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The role combines development and operations responsibilities, focusing on automation, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high availability and resilience of services in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle including development and DevOps activities
• Automate and optimize CI/CD pipelines within a DevOps product team
• Support incident identification and resolution for production services
• Ensure resilience, sustainability, and recovery objectives for delivered solutions
• Collaborate with IT operations and support teams after go-live
• Continuously improve processes, tools, and engineering practices
• Maintain and enhance infrastructure as code in cloud environments

Requirements

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform including GKE, Compute, Networking, Storage, and PostgreSQL
• Hands-on DevOps experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git
• Experience with build tools and code quality tools including Maven and Sonar
• Practical knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with shell scripting
• Understanding of monitoring tools, log visualization, and release management
• Experience working with production live services
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services or banking environment
• Basic knowledge of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies
• Willingness to learn new technologies related to blockchain
• Experience working with IT operations or support teams
