About the Position
Senior DevOps Engineer with GCP
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving cloud-based solutions on GCP. This role combines development and operations responsibilities, focusing on automation, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high availability and resilience of services in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide support across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle including development and DevOps activities
- Automate and optimize CI/CD pipelines within a DevOps product team
- Support incident identification and resolution for production services
- Ensure resilience, sustainability, and recovery objectives for delivered solutions
- Collaborate with IT operations and support teams after go-live
- Continuously improve processes, tools, and engineering practices
- Maintain and enhance infrastructure as code in cloud environments
Requirements
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform including GKE, Compute, Networking, Storage, and PostgreSQL
- Hands-on DevOps experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git
- Experience with build tools and code quality tools including Maven and Sonar
- Practical knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with shell scripting
- Understanding of monitoring tools, log visualization, and release management
- Experience working with production live services
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services or banking environment
- Basic knowledge of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies
- Willingness to learn new technologies related to blockchain
- Experience working with IT operations or support teams
