About the Position

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a broadcast solution company to join our team in Ukraine, specializing in Linux, Containers, Kubernetes, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a tool set and a framework for building customer products, including various Linux systems, Embedded Systems, Data Center Servers, and Containerized solutions.
• Build Debian packages and Docker images, and assemble a deliverable product.
• Maintain on-premise Debian servers, Cloud, and VMs for running the framework.
• Manage AWS infrastructure and lead Kubernetes (K8s) operations.
• Build internal DevOps tools using Python and Shell scripting.
• Migrate, troubleshoot, monitor, and identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Automation and R&D teams as a support tier.
• Participate in the DevOps on-call routine.
• Mentor and promote DevOps best practices and team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer in a Linux environment.
• 3+ years of Python development.
• Deep knowledge of networking and security.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Containers, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Strong skills in Shell scripting and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Lead activities using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with REST API servers and clients.
• Familiarity with Jenkins automation.
