Senior DevOps, GCP

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with GCP expertise to join our financial services team in the Republic of Lithuania. In this role, you will lead a team of system engineers and DevOps professionals while guiding application migration strategies to Google Cloud. You will serve as a key technical advisor, helping architects and engineers re-architect applications for cloud and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of system engineers and DevOps professionals
• Oversee and advise on the migration path for given applications
• Act as main point of contact for other architects and engineers
• Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate workflows
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Work hands-on with Google Kubernetes Engine
• Provision infrastructure using Terraform
• Implement and maintain Anthos Service Mesh and Istio
• Configure networking and firewall rules
• Create and manage Helm charts

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles
• Background in software development and/or architecture
• Experience in re-architecting applications for cloud and containerization
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, and Terraform
• Proficiency in Continuous Integration, GitHub Actions, and infrastructure management
• Knowledge of financial services environments
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good business acumen
• English level B2+

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Azure Networking, Ethernet, and Network Administration
• Skills in Grafana, Prometheus, and Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance
• Proficiency in Python and UNIX shell scripting
• Knowledge of GPGPU/GPU and RDMA
• German language proficiency
