Senior Director, Growth Marketing (m/f/d)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Director, Growth Marketing (m/f/d) to lead our global digital and e-commerce strategies, driving a €10M+ ARR target. This position is based in Germany or the UK with hybrid or remote working options. Applicants must hold a valid work/residence permit for the respective location.

Responsibilities

• Manage forecasting and drive performance against the €10M ARR digital channels, continuously monitoring and improving funnel performance.
• Lead, scale, and manage a matrixed organization of 10+ marketing professionals across five dedicated functional sub-teams. Focus on leadership succession planning, capability building, and fostering an outcome-driven operational culture.
• Report Ecommerce activities to the CRO including always-on and one-off initiatives.
• Manage the global Marketing budget allocation, ensuring spend is allocated accordingly and appropriately to enable achievement of key deliverables.
• Execute performance marketing campaigns, maintaining oversight of acquisition spend, bid optimization strategies, and budget allocation across new customer acquisition, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), and customer base retention campaigns.
• Execute content-driven search frameworks across international markets, utilizing advanced SEO and GEO strategies.
• Own the global web properties of Chaos and optimize performance via continuous A/B testing.
• Deliver organic communication and influencer strategies across global channels (targeting a base of 1M+ followers) within the Chaos primary audience segments (architects, designers, and creative studios).
• Test and assess new approaches, methods, responses to the markets via digital market channels (influencers, paid, web, campaigns).
• Manage agency relationships and external freelancers, ensuring performance standards are met and constantly reviewed.

Requirements

• Significant experience in modern digital marketing methods, with a proven track record operating within a senior leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated experience managing an active, standalone e-commerce or digital sales channel P&L with direct target accountability for a multi-million euro ARR volume.
• Operational background within B2B SaaS environments, specifically leading self-service or PLG motions where customer acquisition relies heavily on digital-first, low-touch conversion pathways.
• Proven capability to build, resource, and lead large, multi-disciplinary, fast-moving marketing teams in performance-driven organizations.
• Comprehensive experience overseeing marketing technology stacks and building AI-enabled marketing processes.

Skills

• Capability to own a complex global budget, manage data-backed investment risks, forecast revenue pipelines, and justify marketing spend velocity.
• Understanding of how cross-functional digital marketing levers from technical SEO/GEO and web infrastructure to performance marketing and social media integrate into a single revenue-generating system.
• Challenging marketing attribution models, data validity, and performance analytics to make objective, data-driven optimization decisions.
• Interpersonal, motivational, and communication capabilities required to manage matrixed global teams and represent the marketing function within the executive revenue leadership team.
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
