Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for comprehensive solution delivery across designated accounts
- Promote governance for production and delivery activities aligned with chosen delivery methods
- Allocate resources to align required competencies and seniority with project needs
- Plan sustainable architectures to ensure high-quality technical leadership
- Enable collaboration across disciplines and stakeholders
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients
- Address client concerns and mitigate potential engagement risks
- Prepare customer proposals and statements of work
- Ensure adherence to EPAM methodologies with a focus on agile practices
- Ensure fulfillment of client accountability within engagements
- Create delivery schedules outlining time, quality, and resource estimates
- Implement ongoing risk management strategies to aid decision-making
- Monitor and enhance delivery performance metrics
- Contribute technical and managerial expertise in sales bids
- Provide coaching and mentorship for delivery managers
- Participate actively in EPAM’s delivery management community
Requirements
- Extensive experience (15+ years) in leading Data and Analytics, Big Data, Data Warehousing, and BI projects
- Strong understanding of data engineering and data platform solutions, including batch and streaming processes
- Hands-on expertise in Big Data technology stacks such as Hadoop, Yarn, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, Kafka
- Background in Python, Scala, or Java programming with a focus on analytics and machine learning
- Proficiency in SQL and cloud data technologies, and maintaining Big Data solutions
- Knowledge of data architecture and software delivery workflows
- Familiarity with data visualization concepts and tools
- Understanding of traditional analytics methods and theories
- Experience in agile and other delivery methodologies
- Awareness of data security considerations
- Expertise in leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and transitioning to cloud environments
- Strong presentation capabilities tailored to varying audience sizes
- Capability to oversee multiple projects in dynamic environments
- Excellent client relationship skills and advanced English (C1 level) communications
