We’re looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join a high-impact Content Platform team focused on modernizing backend infrastructure and services.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-impact Machine Learning Platform team working on the infrastructure that powers recommendations, content discovery, and user and content quantification for a large-scale global consumer platform.

The team’s work directly impacts multiple product and engineering areas, including Growth, Advertising, Feeds, and Core Machine Learning.

You will contribute to the next generation of systems powering personalized feeds, search, and other core product experiences used at massive scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the next-generation backend systems powering personalized feeds, search, and other core products.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality and performant frontend UI features.
• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable production code.
• Develop and evolve test automation frameworks, tools, and services.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines and work closely with Machine Learning, Product, and Infrastructure teams.
• Contribute to highly scalable systems supporting machine learning and personalization use cases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience as a Backend Engineer / Software Engineer.
• 2+ years of commercial Golang experience.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to quickly understand and work with unfamiliar tools, systems, and technologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in distributed teams.
• Experience with Apache Spark and Flink.
• Experience working with machine learning platforms or ML infrastructure.
• Upper-Intermediate+ level of English.
• Ability to work till till 3 pm PST daily is a must.

This position is open only to candidates based in Europe / Latam and is not open to U.S.-based applicants.
