About the Position

Akvelon is an American company with offices in Seattle, Mexico, Ukraine, Poland, and Serbia. We are an official vendor of Microsoft and Google, and our clients include Amazon, Evernote, Intel, HP, Reddit, Pinterest, AT&T, T-Mobile, Starbucks, and LinkedIn. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (C#/.NET) to join a team working on a platform used by professionals in the global financial industry.

About the Project

You’ll join a team working on a platform used by professionals in the global financial industry. The product provides real-time market data, financial analytics, and mission-critical information that helps financial institutions make decisions every day. It processes large volumes of data and supports systems where performance, scalability, and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

Design and build high-performance multi-threaded applications in C#.
Modernize legacy synchronous code and migrate it to scalable concurrent solutions.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot concurrency-related issues.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries and data operations.
Process large volumes of data using Apache Spark.
Deploy and support solutions on AWS.
Work closely with engineers and other stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Requirements

Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET.
Hands-on experience with multi-threading, concurrency, and synchronization.
Experience with performance tuning and application profiling.
Advanced SQL skills.
Experience with Apache Spark.
Experience deploying applications on AWS.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

Location: LATAM (Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil)

Contract: Full-time (40 hours per week), B2B

Duration: 6 months

Start: ASAP

Working hours: Full overlap with the US Eastern Time business day.
