About the Position
We are currently seeking a Senior Full Stack JAVA Developer for our client, an IT company executing IT projects for leading firms in the financial and automotive sectors. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Participation in SCRUM team activities for the development of a critical air traffic management application;
- Involvement in the creation of the application architecture and design;
- Development of applications in accordance with adopted processes and standards;
- Development of highly available Java services and lightweight REST and AMQP (RabbitMQ) services that use CQL (Cassandra) for data storage;
- Creation of component tests and unit tests;
- Support for the QA team in testing and development of automated tests;
- Creation of documentation and requirements;
- Code review;
- Work with technologies: JAVA 17, Linux environment (RHE), Docker, RabbitMQ, CQL (Cassandra), React, Jenkins, microservices/REST;
- Development of smaller components written in GO and the ability to learn this technology;
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in JAVA programming;
- Knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles;
- Willingness to work with clean, unit-tested, and maintainable code;
- Experience with SOA and microservices;
- Experience with REST, message brokers/AMQP, websockets;
- Experience with distributed systems and understanding of concepts (CAP theorem, redundancy, high availability, consistency protocols, etc.);
- Know-how in the field of CI/CD;
- Experience with GO is welcome;
- Very good knowledge of English;
