Senior Fullstack Developer (Next.js/React)

About the Position

K&C is expanding its Cairo team to support a rapidly growing IP-protection platform that is rebuilding its core product from the ground up. We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer (Next.js/React) to join our team. Based in Cairo, you will work remotely from the UK with UK working hours, building the client-facing portal using Next.js and React, and collaborating daily with our AI tool, Claude Code, alongside an international engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Build client portal features in Next.js (App Router) and React
• Create reusable UI components with Tailwind and Zod
• Define API contracts together with backend Go engineers
• Write automated tests and review code in CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Assist in migrating features from legacy platforms to the new stack
• Utilize Claude Code daily to accelerate development without compromising quality

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js
• Comfortable with Tailwind CSS and Zod validation
• Working knowledge of REST API integration
• Exposure to the Bun toolchain is a plus
• Clear communicator, comfortable in a client-facing team
• Thrives in a fast, AI-assisted development environment
• Collaborative, proactive team player
