We are seeking a Senior Group Reporting & Accounting Policies expert to join our Corporate Finance team in Munich, focusing on IFRS governance and external reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the creation of external group reporting (quarterly announcements, annual financial statements, annual report including primary statements and notes)
  • Ensuring timely, high-quality, and target audience-appropriate reporting, as well as managing and coordinating all relevant stakeholders in the reporting process
  • Providing technical support for the group financial statement audit in close coordination with auditors
  • Developing and implementing group guidelines and accounting policies with a focus on IFRS
  • Point of contact for complex accounting issues at the group level
  • Leading involvement in regulatory changes (e.g., IFRS 18)
  • Advising and supporting on complex consolidation matters (e.g., initial/deconsolidation, special cases)
  • Close collaboration with the consolidation team to ensure consistent closing processes
  • Driving the optimization, standardization, and automation of reporting processes
  • Participation in the introduction and further development of disclosure and reporting tools, particularly with a view to reducing manual effort and increasing data and process quality

Requirements

  • Successfully completed business administration studies with a focus on International Accounting / Accounting / Controlling
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting in an international group environment, group reporting, accounting policies, or auditing
  • Very solid knowledge of IFRS (including current developments) and solid knowledge of HGB
  • Experience in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and annual reports
  • Ideally experience with disclosure management tools and in the SAP and Tagetik environment
  • High technical depth with a view to the overall context
  • Structured, precise, and quality-oriented working style
  • Assertiveness and ability to drive topics across the group
  • Stakeholder management and communication skills in an international environment
  • Motivation to actively develop processes and take on responsibility
  • Fluent in German and very good English skills
