About the Position

We are a Ukrainian game development company with a 15-year history and a portfolio of hits played daily around the world. We create full-cycle casual games: from idea to release and scaling. All our projects are made in Ukraine: local team, ambitious tasks, freedom in implementing solutions, and responsibility for the result. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web-based game features
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality game experiences
Optimize game performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
Implement game logic and animations using JavaScript/TypeScript
Work closely with designers and other developers to integrate visual elements into games

Requirements

3+ years of commercial game development experience in JavaScript/TypeScript
Proficient knowledge of HTML5 and practical experience in creating games based on it
In-depth understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
Understanding of the rendering cycle in Canvas/WebGL
Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP)
Knowledge of game logic design patterns and programming practices
Understanding of Event Loop, synchronous and asynchronous approaches
Experience with game loop implementation, physics, animations, and UI transitions
Experience with sprite sheets, texture atlases, and efficient use of animations
Experience with Spine animations
Skills in profiling, memory management, and improving rendering performance
Experience with Rest API, WebSockets
Practical experience with popular game development libraries such as Phaser 3, PixiJS, Three.js
