About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer for the West Region Business Development to lead I&C planning, design, and SCADA master planning efforts.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor for instrumentation, controls, automation, and SCADA projects supporting water and wastewater clients in the West region.
- Lead and deliver I&C planning, design, and SCADA master planning efforts, while supporting business development pursuits and client relationships.
- Take ownership of project execution and coordination, guiding multi-discipline teams, managing scope, schedule, and budgets, and representing Black & Veatch with clients and partners.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing or equivalent experience in Engineering work.
- Minimum of 11 years related work experience.
- Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years’ experience in instrumentation, control, and automation design consulting.
- 4 years’ experience in water/wastewater industry.
- 2 years’ experience in project management and business development.

- Annual compensation range: $156,299.00 - $308,464.00
