Senior iOS / tvOS Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior iOS / tvOS Developer for a 6-month project with a Sweden tech provider, focusing on video streaming apps for various platforms. Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable iOS and tvOS applications
• Write clean, maintainable code using Swift and Objective-C
• Implement user interfaces using SwiftUI and UIKit
• Ensure adherence to Apple design principles and App Store guidelines
• Integrate backend services using REST APIs and Firebase
• Implement automated testing, A/B testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Scrum and Kanban methodologies
• Participate in pair programming sessions

Requirements

• 3–5 years of proven experience working on commercial company products / SaaS
• Hands-on experience with iOS and tvOS development
• Strong experience with Swift (main codebase) and Objective-C (libraries)
• Experience with SwiftUI and UIKit
• Solid understanding of Apple design principles and App Store guidelines
• Experience with automated testing, A/B testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of design patterns: MVVM, MVC (Redux is a plus)
• Comfortable with backend–frontend integration (full-stack mindset)
• Experience working with REST APIs and Firebase (Realtime Database)
• Familiarity with Scrum and Kanban methodologies
• Experience with pair programming
• Clean code mindset, well-structured and maintainable solutions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Fluent English (spoken and written)

Nice to Have

• Experience with video streaming platforms and media-heavy applications
• Experience with tvOS-specific UX and Apple TV applications
• GraphQL experience
• Basic knowledge of Kotlin (cross-platform collaboration)
• Experience with white-label / customized solutions
• Experience with Chromecast
• App Store submission and management
• Understanding of distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science

About the Company

Our client is a Sweden tech provider which is currently developing AndroidTv, TVos, Amazon FireTV apps for Video streaming. The entire team is big, around 50 people. Most of them are Swedish.
