Senior IT Analyst - Mortgage Solutions

Senior IT Analyst - Mortgage Solutions
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements using data, process, and information modeling techniques
- Translate business needs into clear development tasks and user stories
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to contribute to IT solution design
- Support development teams by clarifying requirements and resolving business-related questions during the software lifecycle
- Ensure consistency and quality of requirements throughout design and development phases
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Analyst, preferably within financial services or mortgage-related solutions
- Strong experience in eliciting, documenting, and managing functional and non-functional requirements, including translating them into user stories and development tasks
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe) and tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience with process and system modeling (UML, BPMN) and ability to create clear, structured documentation
- Understanding of system integrations (APIs/REST) and knowledge of databases (SQL)
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
Nice to Have
- Experience in mortgage or lending domain and understanding of loan lifecycle
- Experience supporting testing activities (e.g. UAT, test scenarios)
- Familiarity with regulatory environments and large, distributed organizations
