About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Java Core Developer to join our FX trading team, responsible for designing robust server-side solutions and driving problem-solving across the full software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of software design and problem-solving within the FX trading area
- Participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and rollout
- Deliver Level 3 support and resolve production issues
- Apply modern best practices to new projects while enhancing legacy code bases
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of existing systems and processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Java server-side development including multi-threaded programming
- Experience in designing and building robust and scalable distributed systems in an enterprise environment
- Knowledge of messaging and middleware technologies such as Kafka and Tibco EMS
- Knowledge of frameworks including Spring and Spring Boot and reactive programming paradigms
- Familiarity with Cloud/Azure, Docker, and DevOps
- Basic skills in Linux
- Fluent English

- Background in FX domain knowledge
