Senior Java Developer

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Senior Java Developer for our client, a software company, to join their project in the banking sector. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of banking application modules;
• Responsibility for developing one or more application modules and participating in the development of other modules within the application;
• Delivering code through participation in Scrum sprints, including unit and integration tests and creating documentation;
• Updating the Scrum team in daily Scrum meetings;
• Providing work estimates for application improvements;
• Providing feedback in retrospectives;
• Code review;
• Supporting other members of the Scrum team;
• Supporting the onboarding of new team members;
• Working with JAVA, Spring (Data, Security), Hibernate, SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, RabbitMQ, OpenAPI, Rest;

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Java developer with Java 8 or higher;
• Experience in the banking/financial sector is welcome;
• Experience with most of the mentioned technologies: Java, Spring (Data, Security), Hibernate, SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle;
• Very good knowledge of the English language;
• Ability to work in SCRUM;
• Ability to work remotely;
