Senior Java Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with 3+ years of back-end experience to join our team in Kyiv, Ukraine. This role focuses on building scalable backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Build the entire Salary Advance backend infrastructure
• Leverage existing CLIENT products such as credit, payroll, payments
• Build API integrations with payroll providers
• Introduce Kotlin for new components
• Maintain a minimalist approach to using external frameworks, with emphasis on maintainability and fast turnaround with TDD, DDD, and Continuous Integration & Delivery

Requirements

• Fluency with Java or Kotlin
• 3 years (or above) experience in back-end development
• Quick learner with an ambitious and results-driven personality
• Work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• English

Tech Stack

• Java 11
• Postgres DB
• No Spring Framework (in-house solution based on CQRS pattern)
• JOOQ to query DB
• Infrastructure in Google Cloud
• CI – Team City
