About the Position

We are currently seeking a Senior Java Developer for our client, an international company in the FinTech sector, located in Warsaw, Poland.

Responsibilities

Supporting, implementing, and maintaining web interfaces and Java applications within the client's cloud application architecture.
Close collaboration with the architect and the web application architecture team.
Implementing requirements based on given network standards.
Developing system test plans to ensure a comprehensive approach to delivering high-quality technological solutions for the business.
Creating necessary technical documentation.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Java Developer.
Experience in the full software development process, from requirements to implementation.
Developing and evolving distributed, highly scalable, efficient, and fault-tolerant systems in Java technology.
Expert knowledge of: Java 8, Spring, Hibernate, relational databases (preferably Oracle, DB2, and HSQL), Maven, Ant, Eclipse, Jetty, Apache Tomcat.
Knowledge of application servers (JBoss, WebSphere).
Familiarity with XML, XSLT, HTML, JavaScript.
Knowledge of Web services (Axis / Axis2).
Extensive experience in creating applications with graphical user interfaces (GUI).
Very good knowledge of the English language.

Knowledge of several mentioned technologies: J2EE: JSP, JSF, JDBC, EJB, Servlets, Apache Struts, Apache Wicket, ActiveMQ / Enterprise Service Bus, e.g., Mule (including developing and implementing best practices and principles for ESB / SOA).
