About the Position

Senior Java Developer

Location: Warszawa, Poland

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our innovative fintech company based in Warsaw, Poland. Our client specializes in providing advanced solutions for business banking. They are one of the most innovative and experienced fintechs in Europe!

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing secure internet solutions for banks in areas such as global payments, multi-bank cash management, corporate banking applications, and open banking APIs.
• Creating code with a strong emphasis on security, performance, review, and good test automation, which is integrated and deployed using modern CI/CD solutions.
• Actively participating in prototyping new solutions and the ability to implement your ideas into significant improvements.

Requirements

Main Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of commercial experience in Java programming,
• Good knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, GIT, REST API,
• Ability to focus on the client, attention to detail, and a desire to find optimal solutions,
• Sense of responsibility for the tasks performed – an 'ownership' attitude,
• Passion for designing and creating high-quality code and tests,
• Willingness to share knowledge and learn new things,
• Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing (min. B2) – daily work in an international environment,
• Desire for professional development towards Technical Lead, Architect, Security Expert, or Technical Product Owner,
• Higher education in Computer Science or a related field (at least engineering),
• Openness to occasional business trips (mainly EU countries, sometimes outside the EU).

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge in areas such as web applications, security, databases, and test automation (practical experience as a Developer in these areas will be an additional asset).
