Senior Java Software Engineer

About the Position

We're looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar, in an on-site working mode. In this role, you will contribute to building robust and scalable enterprise solutions that support our clients’ digital transformation strategies. Your work will have a direct impact on delivering high-quality software aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications aligned with business goals
• Implement solutions using Spring Boot, REST and OpenAPI frameworks
• Apply microservice architecture principles and integrate cloud computing concepts
• Ensure high code quality through automated testing and CI/CD practices
• Collaborate with senior engineers to establish and uphold coding standards
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance for scalability and reliability
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in developing, testing and launching Java applications
• Strong knowledge of modular Java web application development with Spring Boot, REST, OpenAPI
• Experience with microservice architecture and cloud computing concepts
• Understanding of DevOps concepts with focus on CI/CD and automated testing
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficient command of English
