Senior Java Software Engineer

What we are looking for:

We currently have an opening for a Senior Java Software Engineer with experience in Microservices who wants to develop their career at GFT. You will also work with other technologies such as Kafka, Cloud, CI/CD, etc. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person with an interest in working in our area of international projects.

Responsibilities

Although they will depend on your profile and experience, in general, the main functions you would carry out with us would be:

• Analyze and program both existing code and from scratch, and maintain software modules of medium complexity, working from detailed requirements and specifications provided orally and in writing.
• Perform code reviews of other developers and provide improvement points.
• Provide support to junior profiles acting as a reference point when they need help or support on specific topics.
• Assist in the development of software module prototypes and applications.
• Develop unit tests and take responsibility for the unit testing of your own code. Consolidate the knowledge of all testing and bug tracking tools and templates used within the project.
• Participate in different phases of the development cycle.

Requirements

• Graduated in Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
• Graduated in Higher or Medium Vocational Training in Computer Science.
• Good level of English in conversation.
• Experience with Java 8+.
• Experience in Microservices architecture and Spring Boot.
• Experience with JUnit is valuable.
• Desirable experience with Kafka, CI/CD, Cloud, etc.
