About the Position

We are seeking a Senior / Lead Business Analyst - Remediation Specialist to spearhead efforts in identifying and resolving regulatory reporting gaps across various financial regulations. This role involves leading remediation projects, ensuring data quality, and coordinating with multiple teams to implement sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve regulatory reporting gaps and deficiencies across MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC, SEC, and CAD obligations
  • Lead remediation projects to address historical reporting failures and data quality issues
  • Ensure timely regulatory submissions and compliance with reporting obligations
  • Drive root cause analysis for reporting breaks and coordinate solutions
  • Collaborate with technology, operations, and compliance teams to close identified gaps
  • Work with engineers on solution design for remediation efforts
  • Manage backlog clearance and resubmission projects
  • Coordinate with regulators on remediation plans and timelines

Requirements

  • 5-14 years of experience in business analysis and regulatory reporting
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
  • Expertise in MiFID II, EMIR, and CFTC regulations
  • Familiarity with SEC and CAD reporting requirements
  • Capability to conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions
  • Understanding of cross-functional team coordination and project management
