About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior / Lead Business Analyst – Scrum Master to support the XPrO Application Development Team, bridging business and technology needs while contributing to efficient Agile delivery. The role requires strong business analysis capabilities, including requirements management, backlog refinement, testing support, product roadmap planning, and end-user engagement, along with core Scrum Master activities such as facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing delivery impediments, and promoting effective sprint execution.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria using Gherkin format
- Facilitate backlog refinement sessions to ensure requirements are well understood and ready for development
- Develop prototypes, wireframes, or mockups using tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or AI-assisted solutions when required
- Plan and monitor requirements based on product release roadmaps and business priorities
- Support Product Owners and Technical Leads in developing and maintaining the product roadmap
- Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Identify, track, and help resolve impediments impacting team delivery
- Promote Agile best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives within the team
- Perform functional testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Validate delivered functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria
- Provide support to end-users by addressing questions related to application functionality and business processes
Requirements
- 6-15 years of experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
- Proven ability to write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria, with experience in backlog management and requirements prioritization
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience creating process flows, prototypes, wireframes, or mockups
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and application delivery processes
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum principles and practices, with experience facilitating or supporting Scrum ceremonies
- Ability to identify and help resolve delivery impediments and dependencies
- Familiarity with Agile planning, sprint execution, and release management
- Experience working closely with Product Owners, developers, and testers in cross-functional teams
- Background in functional testing and UAT, with the ability to evaluate and prioritize defects based on business impact
- Understanding of product development and roadmap planning
Nice to Have
- Experience working as a Business Analyst within Agile application development teams
- Exposure to Scrum Master responsibilities or Agile delivery coordination
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Copilot, or other AI-enabled productivity tools
