Senior Legal Associate (General Commercial)

Responsibilities

• Handle a range of legal work, including drafting, reviewing legal documents, and supporting the contract negotiation process for different departments.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on legal/compliance developments that may impact the group’s operations and recommend appropriate courses of action.
• Advise the company on a wide range of litigation and commercial legal issues, support business units with legal advice.
• Develop and implement legal terms and conditions, policies, and guidelines to protect the group’s interests and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide legal training to business stakeholders on key legal issues and best practices.
• Assist other senior lawyers with different tasks assigned from time to time and effective administration of the Legal Team.

Requirements

• 2-6 years’ post-qualification experience gained from reputable law firms or multinational corporations.
• Qualified in Hong Kong or other common law jurisdictions or the U.S.
• Experience in general commercial and commercial transactions.
• Experience in dealing with regulatory practice relating to international businesses.
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong sense of responsibility and responsiveness.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Energetic with excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness.
