About the Position
Senior Legal Executive（コーポレート法務 - リーダー・マネージャー候補）
We are seeking a Senior Legal Executive to lead the development of a next-generation legal framework using AI, supporting the growth of a 100 billion company.
Responsibilities
- Contract Management: Creation and review of various contracts for the Japanese subsidiary, including group companies.
- Board and Shareholder Meetings: Handling the procedures, minutes, and related tasks for board/executive meetings and shareholder meetings.
- Legal Support for M&A and New Ventures: Providing legal support for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and new business launches.
- Regulatory Compliance: Managing various registration procedures, including coordination with external experts.
- Internal Audit and Compliance: Supporting internal audits and internal control systems related to legal matters.
- Legal Consultation: Responding to legal consultations from business units regarding existing operations.
- Government and Regulatory Bodies: Handling interactions with government and regulatory agencies, including obtaining necessary documents.
Requirements
Must-Have Requirements
- Experience: At least 3 years of legal practice experience in a corporate setting (or equivalent experience in a law firm).
- Technological Interest: Strong interest in technology, particularly in applying generative AI and legal tech to streamline and enhance legal processes.
- Analytical and Adaptive Skills: High logical thinking ability and flexibility in coordination, capable of proposing logical alternatives to management while highlighting risks.
- Global Adaptability: Comfortable with using English and collaborating with overseas offices, enjoying dynamic and fast-paced environments.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in planning and conducting legal education and compliance training.
- Experience in legal roles within venture or startup companies, or in implementing and managing legal tech.
- Experience in managing teams.
- Proficiency in English, Chinese, or other languages.
