About the Position

Senior Manager, Digital Sales

foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is seeking a Senior Manager, Digital Sales to optimize the day-to-day Lead Generation and Lead Management engine across multiple markets. You will own the vendor lead lifecycle end to end, from sourcing and deduplication through Salesforce onboarding and pipeline handover.

This is a builder role. You will engineer scalable, automation-first workflows that cut manual effort, raise lead quality, and increase conversion. You will lead a small team, set SOPs that cover the full scope of the work, and drive adoption of new tools across markets, partnering with Product, Commercial, Sales, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Own all Lead Generation and Lead Optimization activity across your markets, driving vendor acquisition volume and quality at a country level.
• Act as the process engineer for Lead Management: see the full system end to end, find bottlenecks, and propose and implement automations rather than escalating and waiting.
• Design, build, and maintain automation-first workflows across the lifecycle (sourcing, enrichment, deduplication, qualification, Salesforce sync, notifications) using Python, Google Apps Script, and Java.
• Use AI tools to accelerate process design, data work, and automation, knowing where they add value versus risk. Default to automation, treat manual as the exception.
• Build and maintain SOPs covering 100% of team tasks, and manage the tools and integrations that power the pipeline, keeping them stable, monitored, and documented.
• Run root cause analysis when the pipeline breaks or quality drops, fix the source, and put preventive measures in place.
• Gather competitor and market intelligence and turn it into analysis that feeds lead sourcing strategy.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team, balancing long-term process strategy with clear day-to-day priorities.
• Drive adoption of new processes and tools across markets, adapting to local conditions while holding a consistent global playbook.

Requirements

Basic requirements

• Minimum 8 years total experience, with at least 3 years managing people.
• Proven Sales Operations track record, ideally in foodtech or a marketplace, with direct experience in vendor / merchant onboarding.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce and CRM data and processes.
• Strong SQL skills for performance analysis and data work.
• Ability to build automations in Python, Google Apps Script, and Java, and fluency using AI tools to craft automated processes.
• Strong analytical skills: assess performance, find weak points, ship solutions that reduce manual effort.
• Experience building SOPs and scalable processes, preferably in a multi-country setting.
• Excellent communication. Explains technical work to non-technical stakeholders and business context to technical teams.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Preferable requirements

• Experience owning lead generation or vendor acquisition across multiple markets.
• Hands-on with BigQuery and API-driven integrations (Slack, Sheets, third-party data).
• Experience designing agent-based or API-driven AI workflows, not just using AI chat tools.
• Familiarity with deduplication, data matching, or lead-quality scoring.
• Experience with JIRA or similar and writing clear requirements for technical partners.
