About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Manager - Vendor Management to lead vendor selection, onboarding, and governance for the China market. This role involves developing a strong vendor ecosystem, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and driving strategic sourcing and cost optimization.
Responsibilities

Vendor Strategy & Leadership:
- Lead vendor selection, onboarding, and governance for the China market.
- Develop strong vendor ecosystem and backup strategies.
- Drive strategic sourcing and cost optimization.

Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance tracking.

Performance & Quality Management:
- Ensure vendors meet KPIs on data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Drive improvement initiatives and corrective actions.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work with Product, DSci, Ops, Procurement, Finance, and Legal.
- Ensure compliance with contracts and procurement processes.

Localization & Market Expertise:
- Provide insights into the China eCommerce ecosystem (platforms, regulations, vendors).
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and cultural business practices.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (Business, Economics, Data, or related field).
- Experience: 8–12 years in vendor management, eCommerce data, or procurement.
- Domain Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of the China eCommerce ecosystem (Alibaba, JD, Tmall, etc.).
- Vendor management and sourcing experience.
- Functional Skills:
- Negotiation and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Cultural Fit:
- Ability to navigate China’s local business culture.
- Strong ownership and accountability mindset.
- Language:
- Fluent Mandarin (mandatory).
- Strong English proficiency for global collaboration.
