Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Office 365 Engineer to lead the technical implementation and management of Office 365 services, including Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Exchange Online, as well as tenant administration. This role demands deep expertise in Microsoft 365 solutions and significant experience in email administration, design, and implementation of cloud-based technologies at an enterprise scale.

This role requires working in a hybrid mode from any office in Poland (Krakow, Wroclaw, Warsaw, Gdansk, Katowice, Poznan, Lodz) 3 times a week.

Working hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM CEST.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer and implement Microsoft Office 365 solutions to fulfill company expansion needs
  • Provide tier 3 support for the comprehensive Microsoft Office 365 environment
  • Ensure production changes adhere to lifecycle methodology and risk/change management guidelines
  • Mentor team members and participate in architecture reviews and strategic initiatives
  • Design secure Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions tailored to compliance and business requirements
  • Address escalated issues related to messaging, collaboration, and identity services
  • Collaborate with security, application, and infrastructure teams to deliver cohesive integrated cloud solutions
  • Enhance documentation and operational standards while driving continuous service improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience in relevant roles
  • Expertise in administering Microsoft Office 365 across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Active Directory, and Azure environments
  • Background in managing cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP including security groups, load balancers, resource groups, and networking
  • Experience configuring Azure resources like Virtual WAN, Route Tables, Application Gateway, and Azure Policy
  • Proficiency in PowerShell and C# for automation and runbooks
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and service connections
  • Capability to deploy Azure resources using Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep)
  • Knowledge of private endpoints, private DNS zones, and large-scale configurations
  • Understanding of version control systems including Git and GitHub
  • Skills in Office 365 user, license, and group management
  • Competency in security controls such as Azure Information Protection (AIP), DLP, Conditional Access, and Advanced eDiscovery
  • Background in Active Directory, VMware, Storage, SQL Server, and Backup & Recovery
  • Showcase of experience managing enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud environments
  • Qualifications in troubleshooting, problem management, and technology solution design

Nice to Have

  • Certifications are preferred (365, Azure, DevOps)
