Job description
About the Position
Senior Paid Search Manager (Google Ads & Microsoft Ads)
Remote | Europe | Full-time | B2B Contract
About the Client
Our client is a remote-first product company building and scaling a portfolio of profitable B2C subscription products for the US market. The company develops consumer web and mobile products, SaaS solutions, and digital products across multiple categories. Each product operates as an independent business unit with its own Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Growth teams, allowing teams to move quickly, make data-driven decisions, and take full ownership of growth.
Alongside its established portfolio, the company continuously launches new products and business units, creating opportunities to build and scale products from an early stage.
About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Paid Search Manager to take full ownership of paid search acquisition across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who enjoys working directly in advertising accounts, making daily optimization decisions, and scaling campaigns based on real business performance rather than platform-reported metrics alone.
You will manage significant advertising budgets, with spend reaching approximately €20,000 per day per product, and make fast, data-driven decisions about where to scale, optimize, or stop investment.
You will own paid search end to end - from campaign structure and keyword strategy to bidding, budgeting, experimentation, optimization, and performance analysis. Working closely with Product, Analytics, Growth, and the Head of Business Unit, you will help build the acquisition engine for a brand-new product from day one.
Responsibilities
- Own paid search acquisition across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
- Build, launch, and scale search campaigns across multiple countries.
- Manage campaign structure, keyword clustering, negative keywords, bidding strategies, budgets, and pacing.
- Continuously analyze performance and optimize campaigns using both advertising platform data and internal business metrics.
- Scale advertising spend while maintaining acquisition efficiency.
- Own keyword expansion, search query analysis, and ongoing account optimization.
- Test ad copy and work closely with landing page improvements to maximize conversion.
- Ensure accurate conversion tracking and understand the strengths and limitations of attribution models.
- Reconcile advertising platform data with internal product and revenue metrics.
- Maintain healthy advertising accounts, including billing, policy compliance, and issue resolution.
- Clearly communicate performance insights, experiments, and optimization plans.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns.
- Strong expertise in Google Ads.
- Practical experience managing Microsoft Ads campaigns.
- Experience personally owning significant monthly advertising budgets.
- Proven success scaling paid search while maintaining performance.
- Strong knowledge of campaign structure, keyword management, bidding strategies, automation, pacing, and optimization.
- Deep understanding of conversion tracking, server-side conversions, attribution, and their practical limitations.
- Experience validating advertising platform data against internal analytics or backend reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset and confidence making fast, data-driven decisions.
- Experience working with B2C subscription products or large-scale e-commerce businesses.
Nice to Have
- Experience with subscription-based digital products.
- Experience with Meta, TikTok, or other paid acquisition channels.
- Experience using BI tools and SQL for independent analysis.
- Experience managing advertising accounts across multiple entities or payment setups.
- Experience handling advertising policy escalations and appeals.
We Offer
- Fully remote work within Europe.
- Full-time B2B contract.
- Flexible working hours.
- 22 paid vacation days plus local public holidays.
- The opportunity to join a newly created business unit from the very beginning.
- High ownership and autonomy with real impact on business growth.
- Close collaboration with Product, Analytics, Growth, and the Head of Business Unit.
- The opportunity to build and scale paid search for a new consumer product in a fast-moving, data-driven environment.
