About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Payroll Accountant to support our Global Shared Service Payroll Accounting team as the business continues to grow internationally. You will ensure accurate payroll accounting and US GAAP bookkeeping, reconcile internal systems, and support audits while partnering across departments. Apply to help improve payroll accuracy and reliability across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain payroll accounting for specified EPAM subsidiaries in LatAm and complete US GAAP bookkeeping of payroll-related activities, including standard accounting reflection and accruals
  • Validate payroll accuracy by analyzing and reconciling results across internal systems
  • Troubleshoot complicated payroll cases and provide timely resolutions
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to support payroll-related activities
  • Support audit work by addressing requests and joining regular meetings with internal and external auditors
  • Coordinate payroll-related aspects of local audits
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives by assessing areas for improvement and testing new enhancements with other teams
  • Produce ad-hoc reports as requested

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge, with strong Excel proficiency
  • Practical experience with ERP systems, with SAP considered an advantage
  • Experience with company acquisitions, considered an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and personal accountability, able to control and process information from multiple sources
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English (B1+ level or higher)
